How Do I Practice Inclusive Cueing?
There are many things we can do to make the Pilates industry more inclusive. Let’s start with the language we use to teach class. This course will cover —
Learn: What is inclusive verbal cueing, and how can you use it in your teaching?
Move: Experience a mini class with Kai-Ting that uses a kitchen chair
Grow: What do you do when you’re trying to say the right thing, and it comes out wrong?
Each of our courses have 3 prongs: Learn (learn a teaching skill), Move (apply the skill through movement), and Grow (address a mental/emotional component of applying that skill). We’ve found that this holistic approach makes for better and happier teachers.
