Issue 4: The First Session

July 2021

Welcome to the fourth issue of the Aha Atlas Newsletter! This month, we’re talking about the first session. It may be with a client who is brand new to Pilates or a client that’s been doing Pilates forever. But it’s the client’s first session with you. You have something special to bring to the table. Trust us, you do. Here’s our easy guide to follow for the first session, and some confidence-boosting rituals, so you can do what you do best -- YOU.

Move with us in this mini-class (10-20 minutes).

Watch Kai-Ting teach a mini first session on the reformer, or join along for the workout. This session focuses on releasing and strengthening the hips. This is her first in-person session since the pandemic, so, yeah, she’s a bit nervous. 😬

Equipment: Reformer

Props: Yoga block, bumpy ball

Grow

Boost your confidence and resilience with us.

You spend your day helping your clients feel great. Rewarding, right?! But if you’re not getting the care you need you’ll end up drained of energy and burned out on instructor life.

Talese spills the tea in this video about how to keep your instructor cup filled to the brim. Cheers to career longevity!
